Scheduled flights arrive in to Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport which is located just 15 minutes from central Nice and around forty minutes from central Monte Carlo. Pre booking a transfer in advance is a safe and convenient way to get from the airport to your hotel.
Advantages to pre booking a transfer include knowing that your driver will be waiting for on arrival eliminating the chance of having to queue for a taxi or find alternative transportation on arrival, payment is made in your local currency at the time of booking so there is no need to worry about taxi fares or having enough cash to pay for the journey and your driver will know your destination in advance.
If you’re continuing on to Monte Carlo you’ll also have the option of helicopter transfer. Helicopter transfers to Monte Carlo can be booked in advance and a transfer service from the heliport in Monaco to your hotel is usually included as well. The flight time between Nice Airport and Monaco Heliport is just six minutes but airfares are priced at a premium on Grand Prix weekend.
If you’re arriving in Nice by train the main station is Nice Ville. Many hotels are only a twenty to thirty minute walk from the station or taxis are also available outside.
