Watching the Monaco Grand Prix™ from the deck of a luxury super yacht is a very special experience. For a yacht charter, getting your boat in a prime position for the Monaco Grand Prix™ is a lengthy process of applications and permits so choosing a charter with a good track record and good links to the Monaco authorities is essential.
Ideally you’ll choose a yacht positioned trackside for the best views. Some yachts are moored on a T Jetty well away from the harbour wall so you’d have a very limited view from this position.
A good yacht will have three decks for a choice of vantage points including the upper deck for the most elevated views of the cars. A good charter may also limit the number of guests below the maximum permitted to avoid over crowding.
So what can you expect from your luxury super yacht experience?
The views from a trackside yacht at Monaco are comparable to those of a mid to lower level grandstand seat but being on a yacht at Monaco is as much about the experience as it is the views.
You can expect an open bar from the moment you board to the time you disembark including premium Champagne served by attentive stewards. Catering is usually of a high standard with carefully selected outside caterers often providing the food on the busier days of the race weekend.
Outdoor and indoor deck space is ample with comfortable seating and TV screens available if you need to get out of the sun but still want to follow the on track action.
Remember that access to the yacht will be via tender transfer which should be included in your package. Direct access from the yacht to the quayside is only possible once the track closes and the roads reopen.
For the full Monaco yacht experience be sure to book your place at one of the evening parties which take place onboard with live music and the moonlit Monaco harbour as your backdrop.

"Was watching F1 at Monaco on a luxurious yacht as good as it sounds? Yes, and a big reason why was the atmosphere and people. I was there with other F1 fans from all over the world, and everyone was ready to chat and share the excitement."

FAQS
How do I board the yacht?
The meeting point is by the Capitainerie in Fontvieille Harbour. On arrival at the meeting point please speak to a coordinator and show them your pass. You will then be escorted to a tender (speedboat) that will transfer you to our yacht. Why do I have to take a tender out to the yacht?
The circuit is “active” from 8:00am each morning (6:00am on Thursday) and the yacht has to pull away from the quay by 15 metres, so guests can only access the yacht via tender (speedboat) during this time, until the yacht pulls back to the quay at approximately 7:00pm each evening (1:30pm on Friday). What footwear is permitted on the yacht?
No shoes to be worn at any time on the yacht. Storage for shoes is provided. How many people will be on the yacht?
We limit the number of guests to around 100 to so that there is ample room for everyone. This number will be much lower on Thursday and Friday. |
What time are the transfers?
Speedboat transfers from Fontvieille Harbour to the yacht depart from 8:15am and continue until approximately 1:00pm. How long to the transfer take?
Transfers times from Fontvieille Harbour to the yacht are approximately 10-15 minutes. Are there TV screens onboard?
There are HD TV screens to keep up to date on the “out of sight” action and live timings. What is the dress code onboard?
Smart casual attire is recommended. We requests that no jogging suits, shorts or beach attire be worn. |
